April Highlights:

  • Moisture Festival: You up for joining the circus?! If so, you're in luck because the Moisture Festival "The World's Largest Comedy/Variety Festival" is in town! Moisture Festival includes aerialists, magicians, jugglers, contortionists, musicians, and comedians. We have limited Free Tickets for the April 12 show. But wait, there's more: Lambert House will have an Exclusive Workshop with queer Magician, Actress and Bubble Artist, Meadow Perry!   • Planned Parenthood Boundaries & Consent Workshops: Join us on Monday, April 14th for ages 11-15, or Monday, April 21st for ages 16-22, 5-6pm for a workshop and conversation about consent and boundaries, created for LGBTQ+ youth! This workshop will be offered hybrid at Lambert House’s Drop-In Center, and via Zoom. Email onlinegroups@lamberthouse.org for the link.

  • New Skyway LGBTQ+ Youth Group: We have a new group meeting in Skyway on the 3rd Thursday every month from 4:30-6pm. Email onlinegroups@lamberthouse.org to get location information.

  • Skagit Valley Tulip Festival: Lambert House is visiting the Tulip Festival on Sunday, April 20th. This trip will include round trip 130 mi. round trip transportation, entrance into the Tulip Display Garden, restaurant lunch in La Conner, a muddy salt-marsh hike to Delta Rock, and professional staff chaperoning. $120-$40 sliding scale. Wear sturdy shoes that can get muddy, bring a fleece or jacket, hat, raincoat, and water bottle. We’ll meet at Lambert House (Saint Mark’s location, 1229 10th Ave E, Seattle, WA 98102) at 8:30am and return around 7pm. Email zulema@lamberthouse.org to sign up.

  • Carnation Nature Walk: Join us for an accessible nature walk in Carnation on Sunday, April 27th from 11am to 2pm. We’ll meet at the trailhead in Carnation. Email onlinegroups@lamberthouse.org for details and to register.

  • D&D Ask a Wizard: Our Dungeons & Dragons group this month will be an Ask-a-Wizard workshop where you can ask questions about how the game is made, character creation, world building, DMing, what it’s like to work at Wizards of the Coast, and more!

  • Pink Prom: 90s Bop! Save the Date: Saturday, May 3rd 7-11pm at All Pilgrims. Join us for a fun 90s-themed Pink Prom, planned by LGBTQ+ youth for LGBTQ+ youth ages 13-22. https://www.lamberthouse.org/pink-prom-90s-bop/

Daily, Weekly, and Bimonthly Groups (all times are in the Pacific Time Zone)

  • Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) LGBTQ+ Youth Group on 2nd & 4th Sundays each month from 5-6pm

    • Uses Zoom for a video group every week

  • Lambert House Discord Server for LGBTQ+ youth Monday through Friday 4-7pm

    • Sexual Health Questions Voice Channel available Tuesdays from 4-5:30pm for LGBTQ+ youth to seek important health information related to sex and sexuality.

  • Trans Group on Mondays from 7-8:30pm

    • Alternates between Zoom for a video/audio based group, and meeting in-person at our Capitol Hill Drop-In Center for an in-person group. See calendar above for schedule.

  • Ultra Violet Group on Tuesdays from 7-8:30pm (for women-identified and women-aligned youth, including trans, asexual, non-binary youth)

    • Alternates between Zoom for a video/audio based group, and Rocket Chat for a text-chat group all other weeks

  • Non-Binary Group on Tuesdays from 6-7pm

    • Uses Zoom for a video/audio based group every week

  • Dungeons & Dragons Group: Mostly occurring on 4th Mondays at 5pm on Zoom with employees from Wizards of the Coast, the creators of D&D. Occassional date exceptions and in-person games indicated below. In-person games take place at our Capitol Hill Drop-In Center.

  • 10-14 Year Old Group on Saturdays from 3-4:30pm

Lambert House remains dedicated to what LGBTQ+ youth ask for the most: social connection! We now offer both in-person and online programming to adapt to the still-evolving COVID-19 pandemic and meet the needs of a wide range of youth.
